Ferrell Arabians is nestled on 200 acres of grassy knolls and woodland, in the south central region of Mississippi.  Mitch and Linda Ferrell decided early on in their marriage that owning an Arabian horse would be a life time commitment and as they searched for an opportunity to own an Arabian, they met and visited with many knowledgeable Arabian horse owners who guided the young couple on their quest.  They fell in love with the Egyptian Stallion Morafic and decided that they wanted to own an Egyptian bred filly.  After locating a farm in Louisiana that owned a Morafic son, they decided to visit and there they purchased a straight Egyptian colt named Expression and an Egyptian/Davenport bred filly.  Over 38 years, Ferrell Arabians has become a small breeding farm that strives to breed, raise and promote beautiful horses of quality and eye-appealing beauty of domestic breeding.

Since the purchase of their first Arabian mare in 1971, their objective has been to consistently produce Arabians of extreme type and athletic ability.  While they have achieved great success with their breeding program, they continue to raise the bar on their goals.
